We are looking for a 2 bed small western (Scottish Highlands) property with a few acres of land. Our budget is £300K.

Want to raise livestock for income – sheep, chickens, maybe alpacas…

Plus, we need a little help with permitted development advice. Thx.

Thanks for your enquiry. Here are some currently available options to consider:
There’s a fair spread – mostly in reach of your budget with a variety of amenities.

Drawbacks are they are often crofts – so you’ll need to navigate the local legislation re: crofting. But note that with some croft properties – there are portions of the land which is de-crofted…that said, by the sounds of things, you’re looking to be productive with the land anyway which falls in line with the Crofting Commission.

But all in all, there’s plenty of potential for hosting your home-based livestock business.
