I would also be planting a large wild flower/meadow bed around the entire perimeter of the farm and would work extremely closely with the local countryside management service to ensure the most can be done for local biodiversity and the promotion of natural farming... So ideally a max of 4 acres would be a good starting point as if I wanted to expand I could purchase additional farm land in Somerset as time goes on... I would also like to live on site to ensure the smooth running of the farm and to attend the animals, I would love to find a way of gaining financial help from somewhere to help make this all happen as I am on a low budget...
