Ideally, we want a 3 bed, detached period/character property, in Northumberland or Scottish border region, with between 1- 2 acres of land. Habitable condition would be preferable but we do enjoy a 'quirky' project also. An old barn or a couple of useable outbuildings (or room to build them) are also a requirement as, in conjunction with the land, it is our intention to keep animals and to set up a small CL camping business, complete with wash facilities and we would be looking to grow our own fruit and veg to stock an on site tea room and craft shop. Again, from a business perspective, the nearer to the Northumberland coast, local amenities and points of interest that the property is located, the better.
