We are not expecting ALL of the following, but at least some: ideally 10 acres upwards of land for rewilding + food growing, with outbuildings that can be converted to living/work spaces, a water source would be good, planning permission for developing main/outbuildings, orchard or existing native woodland, an off-grid source of electricity, hot water and/or heating, a fast broadband connection (or availability of such a service locally). We are a group of friends with building/growing skills/lots of enthusiasm, looking for a smallholding where we can live, be as self-sufficient as possible, and run/offer training in self-sufficiency skills and build a multi-generational community of like-minded environmentalists over the next decade.
