We are beginning to plan a venture of buying a smallholding/piece of land, to create a sustainable business that would support the land to flourish. We aim to encourage people to enjoy the country side and reconnect with nature; with this as our mission aim, our activities will be heavily environmentally friendly and support all life onsite.
At first the use of 5 yurts/bell tents will provide the opportunity to advertise glamping and bring the start of an income in. From there we aim to develop amenities to support these glamping holidays in environmentally friendly ways.
Our current budget is 50,000 (so starting small and self sufficiency will be a necessity and we aim to grow one sustainable step at a time). We would be looking for 5 acres. We will be ready/responsible for creating small amenities at first such as composting toilets and showers. after research and our small budget - planning permission may be hard to get, so we would want to represent FreedomCampingClub so become a certified site and begin a small camping/glamping site.
We feel this site will be available through summer months and holidays to priorities spending on times that people are able to book holidays. I hope this is enough information to start. We are developing our awareness of what is needed to make this happen and will dedicate ourselves to growing steadily and sustainable (both economically and environmentally)
